Kneale/Ingo -
Sorry if I was coming off a bit 'thin-skinned' this morning.
My only excuse is that I hadn't finished my first cup of coffee.

My knowledge of Audis in general is limited - but growing
thanks to the members here. So what is common
knowledge for most with respect to similarities/differences
of certain models, as well as the interchangability
of parts, is a struggle for me.

Ingo, should I take your reply to mean that the
bracket machined to modify the Merceds caliper to
fit the 200q20v would not be any different for my V8?

I've had a set of 17s with the 35et in the garage
for a while, however, they are 7-in. wide, not
7.5-in which seems to be much more common.
Would anyone think that could pose a problem?

Thanks as always.
