[V8] 90 V8Q -MA failed emissions test

Mixture control is really dependent on the engine temperature sensor. They
do drift off tolerance with age. We were experimenting with a P 944S and
with a slight adjustment (using a potentiometer in place of the sensor) you
can easily kill the engine, too rich or lean. Very sensitive.

My V8Q runs real rich on start-up and this is where I am going to start.

as you said richard then make sure you take it for a
20 minute high rpm run get it REAL warm. Then go
straight in for the test ;)

this may do it if your only a few points over..

basicly you want the cats good and hot before you
bring it in..
