It looks like I really wanted the V8 damper anyway so you are off the hook this
time :-)
This ABS sensor source needs to be perma-linked somewhere.
Also the source for piston rings. I accidently deleted the link that was passed
out the other day. I found this to be big news - has anyone ever re-ringed a PT
motor? I would love to do mine.
So - so far, this steering damper replacement has cost me:
$90 for the damper
$22 for a new boot
$167 X 2 for new front rotors (I found that mine were paper thin - yikes!)
$20 for new o-rings for all the rack fittings
still to come:
the return hose needs a rebuild, the pressure side probably does too.
It is going to be another $500 bill.
This is what happens when the wife and kids go out of town and I have time on my
hands...
Guess I need to learn how to watch TV.
