[V8] Recall Fun

They tell me today that, at the direction of some tech rep, they performed
a test that determined the "crash sensor" part of the control module is
faulty.  It came in the recall kit.  But the new one that was supposed to
arrive this morning did not show up, so they apparently will be paying for
our rental through the weekend at least.
