[V8] Headliner Replacement (OT)

I know this is off-topic, yet very topical for me. I used to frequent this
liquor store in Lafayette, CA, because it had a very extensive collection of
single malts--at one time, it had scotches available going back to 1898.
Ssince I now live about an hour away, I never go. Well, a friend from
college passed away and on the way back from the funeral, I stopped by the
store (drown my sorrow). An amazing collection still, and the proprietor,
who is very knowledgeable about scotch, turned me on to a few new choices.
Tried them. Very nice. One is called Cleinmish, 14 year, I believe. The
other, Laphroig 10 year cask strength. Both in the $40 range, but both
worth every penny.

I agree that Balvenie double wood is a very good single malt, but my
favorites are the MacCallan (18 year best, but all are pretty good) and
Lagavulin. Also, very much enjoy Glendronach, Highland Park 18 yr,
Glenrothes....lots of others, but they're in the $75+ range, which is tough
to justify for a sipping whiskey (but why can I justify $40 for a bottle of
wine?)

Anyways, as Jack Daniels says, enjoy it responsibly AFTER the work is done.

Cheers.

Bill G.
