[V8] UPDATE - Radiator Replacement autocoolradiators.com

I too spent quite a bit of time modifying the upper and lower rails
of the radiator. Had to cut out a section to allow for hood latch.
Grind the entire bottom thinner to drop radiator down enough to get
the trans cooler lines to line up.
The old radiator core was 62mm thick, the new one was 40mm. To me
that is a huge difference.
It does however work. I let the car idle for 30 minutes with A/C
on, outside temp 86F and never went over 100C. It runs cooler while
driving as well. (<100C)

Sounds familiar. Here's a little snippet from me on August 30th of
last
year:
....If you have to replace the radiator, I suggest an OEM unit. I
saved a few $$ and got a non-oem replacement and it was different
enough that I had to use a cutting wheel to make it fit and my own
rubber mounts -- but the extra time wasn't worth the $$ savings.
