[V8] Electrical Issues, related?

... the thing you aren't telling us is what the battery voltage is when the engine isn't running.  I suspect you're looking at a dead battery.  BTDT on my car that was sitting waiting for me to get it smogged.  The battery wasn't that old to begin with, but the deep cycles killed a cell.  

You indicated that you had a charger hooked up continuously ... is it one that regulates itself based on battery voltage?  If not, and you were supplying a 2A charge for an extended period check the cells to see if they need water.
