[V8] Battery Drain

How long did the clutch replacement take? Was the battery fully charged
when you unhooked the cable? It's unusual for a disconnected battery to
drain in a few months. I'd try charging it, preferably with a slow or
"trickle" charger, and then observe/ check the alternator/ regulator.
