Every car I had ran on dino oil. The first oil change went to a semi
synth, and then a full synth. Non of my cars leaked any more when on
full synth compared to dino oil.

Gee Alan, I'm sorry you had such a lousy experience with synthetic oil.
However, as far as doing research, the research shows that there's no
reason for synthetic to cause bigger leaks in an otherwise healthy
motor. I got my car with 95,000 on it and the first synthetic oil the
car ever saw was when I started using it. The car had some very tiny oil
leaks then, the car has some very tiny oil leaks now; 50,000 miles and
years later. I stand by my original recommendation. William
