[V8] Hood wiring

I'm waiting and waiting to get parts for my clutch replacement on the
new-to-me 200q20v avant, so today I decided to replace the hood with the V8
one I got.  There's a significant difference in wiring and a little one in
the windshield washer system that I'm wondering how to address.

Original hood on the 200 has a gray/green wire that runs to the underhood
light, a blue/red that I presume is for the squirter nozzle heater system
and a brown that I guess is to ground the light.  

The V8 hood has the gray/green that I'd expect to find in the light fixture
if I took it apart, two blue/reds and three browns, two of which are
heavier gauge than the third.   Anybody know what those all do and where I
should tie them into my wiring from the car?  I'm terrible at
reading/understanding the wiring diagrams.
