[V8] So what is bad/going bad here?

As you know, I recently (with the help of Tim Hollister) got the V8 5  
speed up and running again.  She had been sitting for over a year.  
Anyhow, I have to take the IC apart again to see why the temp guage  
is pegged all the way to the right with the car on or off.  But  
what's bothering me is a sound reminiscent of the old playing cards  
in the bicycle spokes sound.  Remember when we used to do that?  Some  
of you may -- back in the day they had clothespins.  Anyhow, it  
sounds like it's coming from the passenger rear.  Wheel/tire and  
brake has been checked for interference.  Most noticeable from a  
stop.  Dry wheel bearing?  Driveshaft bearing?  Any BTDT?
