[V8] Heat Soaking V8

Has anyone had any issue with shutting off a hot engine? Say 100 or
slightly warmer? I'm not sure how to cool it off before turning it off,
idling seems to raise temp more than anything. Right now, if I Turn it
off at 100, it'll soak up to about 105 then cool down but it's only been
70 out. I'm worried about triple digits.
I know some cars have the cooling fan hooked up to kick on (at least) a
low speed even with the ignition off to help cool off an over-hot car.
How does the V8 deal with the expanding pressure? There doesn't seem to
be a "bleed line" coming from the cap. Is it pressure rated to release
pressure (at 16 lbs., e.g.), or if not, how does the system ease pressure?
Thanks,
Scott S
