Scott..

With the climate control set to "auto" the electric fan will kick on and
off as needed helping that, but there is a small 5MM hose that runs from
the top off the coolant overflow tank over to the radiator. And the cap
on the coolant tank is a pressure cap. Too much pressure in the system
releases air out of the bottle and allows coolant to flow from the
system in to the overflow.
