The spring rates of the 92 was softer and lower than the spring rates of the
93>. I believe the rear bar was deleted from the S4 sedan because it didn't
help. I believe it was left in the C4q wagons thru the production because
of the extra weight of the rear end, and it matched the larger front swaybar
found on the wagons.
I was brought out to CO to evaluate a full coil over 5ktq with that rear bar
installed. I indicated that for better handling, it should be deleted from
the setup. IMO/E it caused reduced rear wheel travel, causing wheel lift
under hard cornering. Guy didn't want to hear that, because it cost him a
fortune to put in the car. Sorrry?
