Thanks again Cobram! That picture on AW was very helpful ... oh that we had
a place to post pix on AF!

In my case I'm pretty sure the problem is in the lock module ... the key
still works to engage the column lock. I want to remove the key cylinder
from the lock that is there and plug it into the new module I have. It
seems like all I should need to do is to find the screw that holds the lock
module to the column and it should come right off. As I noted in the other
response, I'm thinking I might just go ahead and go by the book ... pulling
the wheel and column switches isn't that big a deal ... if only I could get
the glovebox out! I'm thinking a clear mind and a small mirror will tell me
what soret of drive I need to get the glovebox out ...

Cheers!
