[V8] The Ol' Starter Problem

I sprayed some PB on the bolt.

I removed airbox, strut bar, passenger coil, and passenger distributor
cap. I put a 10mm allen key into the hole and a 10mm box end wrench
over the allen key (that was fun). After about two hours of prying and
using cheater bars, the wrench snapped.

I tried putting a 10mm impact socket at the end of the key and then a
2ft extension on the socket, but that was too much wobble for my
liking. The allen key/bit sits in deep and secure.

I'm not sure what to do next. I keep trying to look on the good side of
things: nothing is broken and the bolt hasn't stripped.

The only other idea I have is to pull the H-pipe and wiggle an impact
gun in there on a u-joint. That will either remove the bolt very
quickly or strip the head clean out.

Time for a drink,
Scott Simmons
