[V8] V8 rod bolt torque

I ordered the Audi part (077-105-425B).
I only know they are also for
the VR6 because google said so.

btw, they listed at $11, and I
got a "deal" at $9. It looked like after market bolts were about
the same price, but I would have to add shipping and time. Since I am just
building the motor back to OEM specs, I figure OEM parts will do fine.

It looks like just about every Audi/VW motor made recently takes
the same rod bolt torque of 22 lbs/ft + 90 degrees.

On the head
rebuild, the bently (page 15-120-1) says the valve/guide wear limit is
0.040", and mine measured 0.020". The machinist says he would
never let a head out with 0.020" but left it up to me. I went ahead
with new guides. Seeing the amount of slop they had though would explain
why some of us see such erratic numbers when doing a compression test.
Overall, valves and seats look OK and are all grindable.
