[V8] V8 Digest, Vol 46, Issue 5

Thought I would chime in here , since I have already installed the rear
sway bar( the stock 92 s4 rear bar) .
My setup prior to installing the rear bar was 1" H&R spacers up front,. H&R
race springs all around and Koni sports.
I then added the rear spacers (1" also) and the handling improved further.
When I added the rear sway bar, the handling worsened.
There is I nice bending exit of I84 here in CT ( exit 18 west to be exact)
The speed at which I was able to take this corner was slower with the bar,
than without.

I think Audi tried to make up for the lack of a rear bar, by makeing the
rear track wider than the front from the factory. (Cost savings maybe?)
Anyway, In order for me to get the most from this bar, I will either have
to get a larger front bar( which there is none), or install 17mm rear
spacers opposed to the 25mm ones on there now. This will even out the trac.
I guess i could remove the rears all together and see what happens there
first. Al
