[V8] '93 V8 ECU connection

... if the engine runs at all the ECU is working.  I too have problems from
time to time getting the ProDiag interface to talk to my ECU.  I'd recommend
that you try blinking the codes out ... instructions are on Scott Mockry's
www.sjmautotechnik.com site.  

If you had a spare ECU sitting around you could try it, but I wouldn't sit
around waiting for one if you didn't have one.

condition (165,000 miles).  I am using VAG Mobile (formerly ProDiag) to
access ECU 
codes.  Until yesterday I was able to pull codes from the  ECU.  But
something

ECU 
at any baud rate.  I am trying to pull the codes  because suddenly the check

engine light came on and the car is running  poorly.  Symptoms are sporadic,

poor acceleration, idle instability.   This is not the usual check engine

acceleration.  Does  anyone have any explanation or solution on how to get
to the codes and/or  overall solution.
