[V8] For Sale, 1 Soul

Owned an 89 SHO, 5 speed, Black w 17inch wheels.  This was a fun car,
for a Taurus. The early years had more body molding on them as well,
always thought they looked better than the later ones.   The 5 speed
trans was horrible, but that motor was a sweetheart, would easily rev to
9000 rpm. Sold it to get married.................

Interesting thread. Right before I bought my V8 about 6 years ago I was
trying to buy a 1990 SHO Taurus. I passed because the owner wanted way
too much for it. I was able to buy my V8 for less than they were asking
for the SHO. I sure wish all my decisions turned out that well. Not too
long after that a friend of mine bought an S4 Avant. It was nice but in
general I was fairly unimpressed. Way unimpressed when I thought of the
money he had spent. But that was the 250 HP turbo motor. When Audi put
that 340 HP V8 in there I thought that sounded like a pretty impressive
combo. It was interesting to hear Kent confirm everything I had thought
about the car and then some. I feel for you Kent. Now you have that
amazing driving memory and only 24 hours a day to figure out how you can
get one those rascals for yourself. Regards, William
