[V8] V8 Euros.. are they worth it?

Hey listers,

the e-mail below got me thinking ... I have a set of Euro's which I purchased used on e-bay a couple of years ago.  I totally disassembled them prior to installation in the car "to give them a good once-over" ... and while I had them open I noticed that the reflective coating on the "headlight surround bezels" was starting to look quite "blind" (for lack of a better word) while the "main" light reflectors were still quite shiny.  BTW, they still throw an immense amount of light compared to the DOT candles!!!  My question now is ... does anybody now of a vendor that can refinish such automotive reflective coating at reasonable cost?  I would assume that it is some sort of vapor coating process.  I have "googled" far-and-wide and have yet to find anybody that can do this sort of job.  Any ideas?

The Euro's vs. the US headlights are night and day, especially the brights. 
If you have an opportunity to get a good deal, do it.
