Very funny.  Not true, but funny.  Some of our younger listers might  
not know that the early Ford was very much an anti-semite and  
believed in the Jewish banking conspiracy -- which makes the story  
that much more fun :-)

Packard was (as far as I know) the first automobile company to offer  
A/C (with actual refrigerant) in 1940.  But very few people had A/C  
in their cars until the late 1960's/ early 1970's.
