[V8] Coolant Guage wackyness***Now IC board wackyness***

Ok, I checked the sensors & all are fine. I did/do
have a spair 90 V8 Auto IC & for shit's & giggles I
pluged it in & it works as it should. Coolant gauge
stays were it should & as I let the car idle in the
driveway it climed as it should.
 So my question is....since the 5spd seemed to run all
the IC functions from the Auto IC you think I can just
swap the Board from the Auto to the 5spd?
