[V8] 235/45-17 snow tires?

the 323mm by 30mm rotor I'm using with the larger caliper, 928GTS uses 44mm
and 36mm same as both turbo calipers (993 and 996) are bigger then the BIRA
stuff. calipers are much larger and almost 2x the g60 in piston area and
the rotors are 12.72 verse the 12.37 of the A8 used by BIRA. Basically the
stage 4 kit. I'm later going to be running a 2 pc rotor that will be bigger
then the stage 6 kit so trust me it will stop fine. and will be the biggest
allowed by 17" wheels with a 13.06" or 332mm rotor.

I'm just worried that with the limited throttle control the slush box gives
I'm going to be in trouble here in MN. I drove a 200 20vt with 195 and then
205 snows and I loved the Michelin X-ice 215/60-15 tires, but in deep snow
it was a little too narrow and meant I sunk to the pack layer which is Icy
and sometimes had bottoming out issues. We can see 4-6" in a storm, but
most of the winters lately have been short and little snow so the AVS sound
good as they are more of a pavement/snow then all out ice and snow like the
old hakkas I have run in the past.

Thanks
Sean
