[V8] abusive relationship

I hit it pretty good with the garden hose when it was warm and up on the
ramps. I think I got it pretty good - but I will definitely give'er a good
douch'in before I put it back on the road.

But now I am worried
about the oil pump. Has anyone actually replaced one for being noisy? Or
worn out? As far as I know, oil pressure is fine. Since this seems to
happen to so many people after changing the t-belt, I just figured it had
to do with belt tension somehow, but if it is all in spec - and mine is -
then what can you do?
