Yes, but it's a bit of a PITA. I use a long prybar to push the tensioner in.
I pry from the passenger side bottom fo the car up to the tensioner. It is
very stiff. What I've done in the past is to put the best completely on
except for the AC pulley. Then pry it over, and you should be ablo to slip
the belt on the A/C compressor quickly. Sometimes is takes a bit of
patience, maybe two or three tries. Let us know if this doesn't work, there
are other alternativer. BTW, for future reference, there is a hole in the
tensioner and behind it. Before pulling the belt, slip a nail or small
screwdriver into it. You have to pull on the belt a bit to pull the
tensioner tighter, but, anyhow, it saves fighting it back on.
