[V8] Free K&N Air Filter

I couldn't agree more!
I used one on my Explorer for a while. The air
box (past the filter) was always dusty and the throttle valve was always
caked with gunk - which affected idle quality. 
If you over oil them,
you mess up the MAF sensitivity and kill performance.
With good paper
filters it is always clean in there, as is the V8 which also gets factory
Mann filters.
I don't buy the performance claims either.
Maybe
if you are a racer it makes a difference but for a daily driver they seem
to be a poor choice.
