I am a new member to this forum all though I have read through alot of the database. I have a 90 V8 with high miles that is overheating. Not the tstat (boiled it) the secondary viscous fan is not running but I am in Alaska and its winter. At first it started just in traffic however now it does it except when going at a high rate of speed. The heater does not word and I have fluid loss so I suspect the water pump. My question is that I have yet to read of anyone having this go bad in your database. I have replaced waterpumps before and know how to so this job but before I remove the bumper radiator and timong belt cover I would appreciate any input.
