So at 16 years and 210,000 I've been thinking about getting another
car...drove a 2002 S8 this afternoon.  My overall comments: 1) amazing how
similar the interior is to the V8, 2) it feels just like my V8 inside (ie
great!), 3) at 210K my V8 shows a lot less wear (especially around the driver
door switches) than this 80K S8, 4)I actually prefer the more positive shifts
of my 4-sp than that of the 5-sp tiptronic, 5) the lowered, stiffer
suspension is very nice, and... 6) 360 hp is sweet!  Gonna look at a couple
more this weekend--might get one.  Anybody have any BTDTs on either a 2001,
02, or 03?
