[V8] Oil type and leather dye question

Well a warmer weekend is upon us up here in Minnesota, so I figure since I'm 
runnin a little low on oil (right at the min. mark) and it's pretty dirty, 
I'll change the oil this weekend. What type of oil have you found that works 
best? Also, the side nearest the door on the driver's seat is showing some 
wear, and I was wondering if anyone found a good way to touch it up. I have 
a grey interior, by the way. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!
