[V8] Radio operation

... I've been wanting to do the same ... and just recently received an official Audi 10 disk changer with wiring loom (Thanks Ron! :). I too have Gamma decks in both cars. I tried hooking the loom into the back of the radio on #2 ... sounds like the changer is having problems initializing.
My goal in this endeavor is to learn the communication between the interface box and the Gamma ... one, to be able to send info to the dash display, and two, to build up something to talk to an iPod as if it were a changer. AFAIK the newer interfaces that do this will not talk to a Gamma.
The Gamma has to think there's a changer attached to activate the "Mode" button. Not too long ago I learned that the Mode button will work when you have a cassette plugged in ... you can switch between the radio and cassette.
