[V8] Intermittent Fuel Reading

I posted this last week, but did not get any responses.

Occasionally, I see my fuel reading in the instrument cluster.  It 
appears to be an accurate reading when it does display.  It is not temp or 
shock related when it displays, just random occurance.

Is there a ground or common failure point I need to check?

Any help appreciated.
