[V8] Chopped Exhaust

Sounds real good, I know some of us have done that already. I had it, I
sounded real nice, but I am not one to leave things well alone. I really
should post a vid of my dual glass and chamber muff

Ok...here's another question for the Audi gods.  I'm kneeling you know.
I read a post on our lovely site about removing the back muffler, which
I've been told greatly restricts flow, and replacing it simply with  
straight
pipes and adding chrome tips at the rear.  Is this a reality and does it
sound good?
