[V8] Re Radiator

With all the talk of radiator prices I find myself facing that job.  I have done one on every type of Quattro I've owned though the V8 looks most daunting.  How much time would be normally allotted? (So I can allot 50-100% more?)  I will also be swapping in 'new' tranny cooler lines as part of my under bodyresto.  I was a bit surprised when I looked at the rad tranny line fitting and couldn't find enough thread to get a nut on.  Then checked the car, the fitting is just a 'seated' fitting with O ring held on by the allenhead bolts?  who woulda thunk? (I'm guessing this is just a passive flow vs a high pressure flow driven by a separate pump?)  While I'm guessing these O rings can't be the most expensive stealership part, does anyone have an alternate PN or source.
