... it might actually be easier to pull out the control relay in the box of
relays under the passenger carpet.  The light in the IC still comes on
before starting, but never again.  In CA we need to worry about passing
smog, and some smog pro might fail my car for the OXS light not coming on
...

So I was under the car over the weekend, replacing the exhaust on V8 #1,
with a 4.2 System from Ron W, and a couple of issues/problems, that I
was hoping to get some input on..



1.       CAT temp sensor, the '90 3.6 uses a 2 wire and is a female cap
type connection, the 4.2's is a 4 wire flare nut type connection. What
(if any) issues are there from NOT running the sensor? It was my
understanding that, the sensor only monitors the temp, if it gets too
hot (too much un-burnt fuel), and then would trip the dash light.
