A good infrared pryometer will tell you whether or not your radiator is
cooling properly. A good 20-30 degree drop is expected between upper
and lower radiator hoses.

Today in traffic I sat and watched the temp climb up to the 140 mark. Could this really be another clogged rad this early in the game. My question is when I put the heater on it blows almost cold certainly not hot.. It was about 45 today am I looking at a clogged heater core would it cause my car to overheat like that.? Any comments or ideas would be well appreciated. OD 328,000
