[V8] Solid sub frame mounts

Hello all,

My turn to chime in.  So here is my problem I have a 92' S4 rear suspension
and every single bushing is dead the car is an MN car and being such
everything is corroded and nasty.  I've been looking for these for some time
now and they are NLA from the dealer and have been for quite some time.
I've called the Boge reps and they don't have anything linking to that
application for I am guessing when Audi said stop these they did just that.

My options are few and I am exploring them.  Right now it's looking like I'm
going to be making some on the lathe.  I am thinking I'll be making my
mounts from standard 6061-T6 aluminum with a press fit and have them be
solid as can be.  This might be stiffer then some would like, but they
should work for the application at hand and I can get the material for cheap
and should be able to get access to the lathe pretty easily.  The mounts are
not complicated and I know of a few people that might be able to mass
produce aluminum versions If I make a master set.  I'd need 4-5 people to
confirm this and possibly make a down payment.  I'll order the material in
the next week and hopefully get my old mounts pressed out and start the
redesign process this weekend.
