I agree Paul! I see it all the time people who are
unfamiliar with these cars will mail me & ask all
kinds of questions ect, i say time after time that
buying a $1,000, or even in some cases a $500 e-bay
"special" is just a plain bad isea. YES there are
those "diamonds in the ruffffffffffff), but they are
few & far between! But,
then after they buy they become a life long customer
of mine..so I suppose that's not bad...;-P,
but as I was saying.....I think that buying one of
these cars from someone who is an enthousiast is the
best option. Will one pay a little more such a
car...maybe, but I would think it would be worth the
extra $X amount of $$$$$.
Didn't Bob Blake buy Steve's ol Pearl converted car
for a few bucks? I mean hell you paid a nice price for
the GE when you bought it paul...rite?!
Not too mention you'r not in a HOT BED of V8 activity
out there.
Hold on to the car...or let me come out there & bring
it back to Ma$$ were it'll be loved & near the many
other V8's I have...hell I'd love to make it 3 5spd's
in the driveway ;->
But if I had that kinda $$ to toss at a car it would
be a 95.5 Urs6 Avant for my stroker motor.
Hell Roger pines over another V8....it baffles the
mind why he wouldn't reclaim his steed! Must not want
a 5spd car???
