The near perfect 2000 Mercedes E430 4matic I just passed on a couple
weeks ago?  Only reason I passed on it was because it was "Erin Go Bragh"
Green with "The Exorcist" Green interior.  

If this list is still around, this subject will still be coming up when
our V8Q's reach antique status.  Most of those reading this message
probably represent over 90% of the market for sorted V8's.  Like I said
before, if these things had the cult following of some other cars, we'd
be turning down 7 grand for our 1990's.  There's a Ferrari 400i right now
at my friends shop that the owner paid enough for to buy 4 sorted V8Q's,
included in the HUGE laundry list, is a new transmission...a GM turbo 400
automatic.  If that POS had 4 rings instead of the prancing horse it
would be a sub $1000 car.
