[V8] spark plug pulsing????

Some of my thoughts...  loose spark plugs (they sometimes unscrew 
themselves on the I-5 engines), long-reach plugs hitting the tops
of the pistons, loose rod bolts/pins causing a knock you can feel 
through the spark plug.
