[V8] Here's an odd, off the wall question....

As I recall, the determining factor that killed off the 928/Audi Avant concept was that the re-engineering needed in order to accomodate the width of the 928 engine would have been killer.  Now, the 3.6 litre Audi V8 fits relatively well...it's been done.

But I was wondering how the early 928 engine compared in comparison with the audi V8 4.2?
