12mm Hex for the bottom bolt....easy part of the job
Upper bolt.....I'd say easier from above once you've cleared things out of the way....it's best to see what you're doing. Be prepared for the possibility that you'll have to use a breaker with tremendous force to loosen it up......make sure your hex bit is solid and not a dodgy piece.
11 pounds is a steal.....assuming you don't break too many of your tools, you'll be left with money for the pub after it's all said and done......

Well my starter motor has finally died, I remember from previous listings that this isn't a pleasent job. Can anyone give me a few tips, ? Is it tackled from above or below?
Managed to get a new genuine VAG starter off eBay for £11 so things have started off well!
