[V8] Starter fixed! another problem now....

My 93 is doing this a little too.

I have been hungting for vacuum leaks. The usual suspects, the large
breather hoses are fairly new and look good. The hose to the climate
control system got a zip tie for a hose clamp. The over the intake
hole hose seems solid. The large and small hoses near the throttle
body are good at that end. I replaced the o-ring on the dipstick
which was really loose.

The other variable on this one is the EGR valve, etc. Those hoses
seem ok too. Can the valve itself fail?

In regard to the EGR valve, would that affect the throttle response?
This one is very different than the 90 which is much more direct and
crisp.

I also replaced plugs just a couple days ago. Next, I will pull dist
caps and inspect.

Fuel pressure regulator?
