[V8] Stick a fork in the V8 I am done ;-)

Well the problem for me is the V8 is my one and only car right now.. If 
I had multiple Audi's I think I would just hang onto them no harm no 
foul. However I do get concerned when I think I will need to do a whole 
lot of work to keep going.

As for Lanier, I really would like to get to the bottom of that problem 
for sure.
