Well - you had to go and complicate a good plan!!

I do understand though - I have a spare car just for this problem.   
My theory is that two old cars is still cheaper than one new one.
So far, that math has worked out OK.  As car ownership moves to a  
privilege for the Bill Oreilly class (he claims to be in the upper 1%  
income level) I may have to rethink that though.
Our "conservative" Idaho state government is now toying with an  
increase in registration fees to cover the fact that they have  
neglected all public infrastructure, and highways/bridges in  
particular ever since they came to total control here about 25 years  
ago.
