[V8] cooling troubleshooting & temp sensors

Be very careful wrt viscous clutch failure. I replaced mine and it  
was NOT the problem.  The viscous clutch only works if there is  
enough heat dissipated from the radiator.  If the radiatror is in any  
way clogged or otherwise has cold spots, even a perfect viscous  
clutch will not  fully engage.  Found this out when I bought my  
infrared thermometer.

Can't cool something that isn't hot to begin with...
