The problem is, afair, that the gaps are of microscopic size - you won't 
see it I fear. Think about the S6/S6+ - it is a lot of work, but 
probably worth. As you are from Finland you probably want to contact 
Perttu Hynninen who transplanted an S8 engine incl. transmission into 
the V8 (perttu.hynninen at konttorityo.fi).

Concerning the ABH: Try to get a late one (starting in 1993) to have 
better chances for not having the NiKaSil problem.
