Bastian,

thanks again - admittedly finding an S6/S6+ -engine over here is practically 
impossible. I am going to see '93 model ABH in a couple of days.

Perttu is actually a good friend of mine, so I am very familiar with all his 
cars.

Btw, does Audiv8.com list the engine serial numbers and their respective 
manufacturing dates? I think the production date is not stamped to the 
block - only the serial#.
