Wikipedia is formed by unverified, unedited (for the most part) articles
submitted by users. I think the prudent way to use Wikipedia (especially
when it comes to health issues) is to always verify any info you get
there. The last set of rod bearings and crank bearings I bought for a
Teutonic beast were labeled "Kolbenschmidt", I'll take their word until a
reputable reliable source contradicts it. I submit that I indeed may be
mistaken, and if so I appreciate being steered to correction. Industry
literature says otherwise for now, it would be interesting to see a Meyle
paper on the subject, it would have more weight than the Kolbenschmidt
paper submitted, because Meyle manufactures the coatings.
Hmm, I think it's time to change the subject, this thread is getting
interesting.
