[V8] Is this the end?

I paid $3200 for my 201K mile, well documented with repair
receipts, chipped by Mineah (sp?), Euro headlights, Bilstein
shocks, body in very good shape, heated seats working with
no tears or holds, etc. Take that, subtract what you'll need to
spend on the "correct" mods, and make it your bid. $1500
doesn't sound out of line, but the seller may disagree with it.

That said, I look at S4s and S6s going for not much more and 
think that the bottom has dropped out of the used Audi market.

But the real question is, "What will you pay for that perfect 
example?" Or rather, what will you pay to make any example 
perfect?

My TQA #1 is still sitting at Force 5 (or it was a week or so
ago), but it has high miles and needs *lots* of work.  When
you're done putting that amount of money into it, what could
you have gotten instead?  I look at those 3 TQAs I recently 
bought and think that for the same amount of money I could 
have had a 2000 A8. Not the same car, but my A4 tells me 
the A8 would be a nicer ride for a long commute.
